Turns out.....

We are always stronger than we anticipate. Take advantage of the things that life presents you.


A preacher was standing in the street as the flood waters began to raise. The waters were now up to his waist. A boat came by and the man in the boat stated "preacher please climb into my boat and I will take you to safety." The preacher responded "Thank you, but I am a man of God and I know that he is with me." The boat then left. The water continued to raise, now up to his chest. A second boat saw the preacher and again offered to provide him safety. The preacher again responded "I have faith that God is with me. I will remain here." The water was now up to the preachers head. A third boat saw the preacher and stopped. The man in the boat shouted to the preacher "preacher please get in my boat. You will drowned if you stay." The preacher responded "I will not leave. God is with me." The boat then left and as the water continued to raise the preacher did indeed drown. He was then before God. He said to God "Father, I have been your devoted servant. I have never broke any of the ten commandments." God looked at the preacher and responded "I know my son. You have been completely faithful and I love you for that. The preacher looked at the Lord and said "Well then why did you let me drown?" The Lord responded "let you drown?....My son, I sent you three boats!"

The moral of the story is, life presents you with many opportunities. It is up to you to see those opportunities and take advantage of them.
